Overall Purpose of the Job:

The job has ownership of the interests of the Product Line within the Region, for the primary purpose of growing the business.

The position has a direct interest in the welfare of the Product Line in all aspects (financial, safety, service quality, new technology, compliance and Regional capability).

Position reports to the Region Director with functional reporting to the relevant Product Line Director in the UK.

Principal Accountabilities:

1.Provide input into the development of a 5 year strategy for the Product Line within the Region and ensure execution of same.
2.To deliver Technical and Market expertise in the designated product line whilst executing the introduction of new products and services within the Region to ensure Product Line profitability is maximised.
3.Establish operational standards for the Product Line to enhance product/service integrity and ensure these are effectively communicated to the Region Team and adhered to.
4.Provide Technical input to contracts/tenders within the Region.
5.Provide input to the annual budget
6.Evaluate operational practices and needs within region for application of existing assigned products and services and / or identify need for new products and services within the Region.
7.Ensure compliance with legislation in all operating locations and also with the Company’s Code of Conduct.
8.Be the focal point  for communications with central Product Line / Business Units and activity communicate and promote relevant information to and from the Region Operations.

Region Product Line revenue and margin, and 5 year product line growth.
Job Context and Main Activities:

Job is an integral member of the Region Senior Management team.  To advance the product line within the Region by working with the other members of the Senior Management team effectively.  Directly bringing value through communication of Group plans and strategies, taking direct responsibility for the implementation plans for new services or products within the Region, and providing a product line view across all Region geographies to benefit the business.

Activities include face to face meetings with Area/ Country Managers, BD Manager, and clients.  The role supports BD via technical input, advice on pricing/costs for new services and feedback on global product line performance / returns, etc.

Monthly travel to a Region location is required.  Annual / semi-annual travel to UK is expected.  Success in the role should minimise the amount of travel to the Region required by central Product Line teams.
