Overall Purpose of the Job:

The Expro Group has operational structure of 4 Regions which support global operations.. The operating regions are supported by a number of global functions one of which is Marketing . The Marketing function will play a critical role in guiding the organisation, supporting the growth strategy with pertinent information of global markets, technology, and the Expro portfolio. 
As Group Marketing DirectorXXX you will be responsible for developing and supporting Group marketing strategy which includes being custodian of Client,market and technology information allowing detailed strategic alignment with Group Technology portfolio. Such strategies include the execution and introduction of newly developed Group technologies.
Principal Accountabilities:

1.    Manage the delivery team for Group New Product Development ( GNPD ) in all its phases.

2.Manage a Proactive and dynamic team of marketing managers to position Expro at the forefront of its global technologies.

3.Develop and keep sophisticated analytical models on the key global factors which effect our business performance.

4.Advise Group board on technology issues which offer opportunity or equally threat to the Group.

5.Become actively involved as required in any Group acquisition activity.

6.Become actively involved as required in Corporate activities in support of shareholder communications.

Job Context and Main Activities:

Close contact with Houston based clients & the European & Americas regions in line with established strategic marketing objectives.
(Who are the job holder’s most important contacts and for what purpose? Consider both external and internal contacts, excluding immediate supervisor and subordinates, but including personnel at other locations , if appropriate)
Establishing solid high level relationships with industry technology centres.
Regular contact with both Eastern and Western organisation heads to keep abreast of latest market movements, technology performance etc.

Responsibilities of Managers and Supervisors
The incumbent is responsible for ensuring that the HSE Management System is implemented within the operations under their control. The incumbent must actively monitor the workplace to ensure that acceptable standards are maintained. Where risks are identified the incumbent must ensure that these risks are controlled, so far as is reasonably practicable.
The incumbent’s duties include:

Ensuring that employees, contractors and visitors are aware of relevant HSE procedures

Establishing that all equipment, plant and substances used are suitable used for the task and are kept in good working conditions: this includes the regular maintenance and servicing of equipment

Providing adequate training, information, instruction and supervision to ensure that work is conducted without harm to people or the environment

Taking immediate and appropriate steps to investigate and rectify any risks to people or the environmental arising from work activity

Bringing to the prompt attention of senior management any HSE issues that requires their attention

Ensuring that all incidents are properly recorded and reported and that an investigation is carried out to establish and rectify root causes

Actively participating in the HSE management system

Comprehensive understanding of the Expro Group’s product offering
Experience of marketing / sales at a high level.
Methodical and disciplined in project delivery including P and L experience.
Outstanding reputation for delivery in previous assignments..
