|OVERALL PURPOSE OF JOB (State briefly why the job exists.)|
The Expro Group is structured to deliver profit growth utilising a matrix management technique. This technique promotes shared objectives between Region P & L holders (the market) and Business Stream Managers (the technology). Both have responsibility towards developing and delivering common business objectives for Expro.
|PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES (Describe the important end results of the job, ie what has to be achieved and why. Start with the most important and number each one separately.)|
1. Accountable for Business Stream profitability within Expro’s four geographical regions through jointly developed business plans with Region Directors.
2. To determines strategic direction for Business Stream given market conditions/technology requirements etc..
3. To determine a pricing policy for Group Technology within the Business Stream.
4. Accountable for Business Stream development engineering initiatives and P & L for such.
5. Responsible for the global identity and the marketing of the Business Stream particularly within client technical centres.
6. Accountable for HSEQC issues within their Business Stream activities.
7. Responsible for global resource allocation including capex, personnel (where appropriate) and operational assets

The main activities involve close contact and negotiation with Regions to ensure full alignment of objectives to deliver business plans. This should result in a published common business plan agreed and resourced by both Region and Business Stream.

Very high authority levels with minimum supervision

Group C.O.O. for business plan approval and monthly reporting
Group Finance Director for corporate control

High degree of international skills required to successfully operate within a matrix approach. Negotiation skills must be excellent. Overall general management qualities must be of the highest order.
