Overall Purpose of the Job:

To provide a responsive and effective logistics service to the Area Operations.

Principal Accountabilities:

1.     

To support Country Materials/Logistics personnel on a daily basis for execution of Contract start ups and close downs.

2.     

To provide shipping support to other Countries Operations as required for all Significant projects.

3.     

Be responsive to needs of Operations regarding shipment of Expro equipment/materials.

4.     

To keep accurate records of all shipments and ensure Region Resource Controller is advised of movements of assets.

5.     

To fully comply with the Company’s Quality Assurance System.

6.     

To fully comply with all procedures and records management as required by local and International Customs.

7.     

To be competent in use of Expro (RMS) Resource Management System or its replacement system.

8.     

To have a ‘comprehensive’ knowledge of operational equipment.

9.     

Filing of all shipping documentation.

10.   

Communicate to Line Manager any concerns, suggestions, ideas and improvements.

11.   

Establish rapport with Client Logistics personnel.

12.   

Maintain a certified standard and level of competence in the safe handling and transport of Dangerous Goods.

The job holder reports directly to the Area Manager or his designate and is responsible for shipping commitments for projects as assigned from time to time.

Prioritise workload on a daily basis / Minimal supervision required.

Operations & Workshop Supervisors – shipment and receipt of equipment.

Other Expro Base Logistic Controllers – shipment and receipt of equipment.

Client Logistics Controllers – shipment and receipt of equipment.

Third Party Agents – Import, Export and local carriage of equipment.
