Key Performance Areas

    • Plan, organize and control the total workshop operations.
    • Allocate jobs to teams set targets and ensure completion
    • Assess equipment and tools are good working condition; ensure the workshop cleanliness and order.
    • Coordinate between Spare Parts and the Sales Division to ensure reliability of service rendered.
    • Ensure there is availability of workshop tools and they are used efficiently
    • Ensure vehicle repairs are done to standard
    • Liaise with spare parts for the timely supply of the needed spare parts
    • Ensuring that work is carried out as per time schedule to avoid time deviation.
    • Maintain a proper housekeeping at the workshop and a proper working environment
    • Explain work done and ensure replaced parts are handed over to customer
    • Ensure customers receive accurate reports on the state of their vehicles.
    • Monitor Job quality through quality control inspection and report feedback
  • Manage workshop standards in accordance with safety, quality and company requirements
    • Manage customer complaints and ensure it is Any other job that will be allocated from time to time

Overall Purpose of the Job:

To meet group management reporting and group and subsidiary company statutory reporting.  To continue the improvement in financial reporting quality and timeliness. To enhance the quality of balance sheet control and reporting.
Principal Accountabilities:

1.Preparation of consolidated monthly management financial reports for board distribution, in accordance with the pre-defined reporting timetable
2.Review and understanding of region and central profit and loss information through use of variance analysis and communication with region finance staff
3.Detailed review and analysis of central and regional balance sheet reports
4.UK statutory reporting (interim and year-end) including preparation and review of company and group reports
5.Improvement to existing financial reporting systems and internal control procedures
6.Ad-hoc and one-off projects as required

Job Context and Main Activities:

Preparation of consolidated flash and management accounts (including balance sheet, cashflow and supplementary analyses)

Critical analysis of financial data and achieving satisfactory understanding and explanation of variances

Review of financial and accounting processes and implementation of system improvements

Knowledge of Oracle Financials set up and competency in use

Understanding of group structure and trading/financing arrangements

Communication with Region and Group staff to resolve accounting and financial reporting issues

Familiarity with statutory reporting requirements and accounting standards

Decision making Authority/Level of Supervision Required:
Decision making as appropriate to a senior member of a Head Office finance function.  Limited supervision.

Job Knowledge and Experience:

University educated, CA qualified with at least 2 years PQE

Experience of consolidating the results of international groups

Statutory reporting and experience of best practice management reporting systems

Motivated self-starter requiring limited supervision

Articulate and able to communicate confidently with senior finance personnel and group directors
