Overall Purpose of the Job: (State briefly why the job exists) | |||
Working for Operations Support Dept within the Cased Hole Services(Electrical) Workshop | |||
To ensure on a daily basis that all activities relating to the inspection, maintenance, repair and calibration of all Expro CHS(E) equipment are carried out by themselves and subordinates in a safe, efficient and cost effective manner and that the completed work complies fully with the contracted or in-house specification. | |||
Principal Accountabilities: (Describe the important end results of the job, i.e., what has to be achieved and why. Start with the most important and number each one separately)) | |||
1. | Inspection, maintenance, calibration and repair of all CHS(E) equipment and peripherals returning from offshore/foreign locations. | ||
2. | Senior Technicians are to ensure that all maintenance activities carried out by themselves and subordinates are done in accordance with Company procedures, work instructions and to BS ISO 9002. | ||
3. | In association with Operations Department, to be involved in testing of all equipment sets prior to mobilisation to offshore/foreign locations. | ||
4. | Take reasonable care to prevent harm to yourself and consider the potential harm to others or the environment that may be caused by your acts or omissions. | ||
5. | Work in accordance with information and training provided. Do not undertake any task for which training or authorization has not been given. | ||
6. | Refrain from intentionally misusing or recklessly interfering with anything that has been provided for Health, Safety and Environmental reasons. | ||
7. | To attend regular meetings to discuss and share updates on latest company policies, structure, future plans and safety related topics. | ||
8. | Testing and evaluating of any new products or software prior to field release. | ||
9. | To assist in the general maintenance of other equipment as and when required. | ||
10. | To provide, when necessary, out-of-hours call-out support as required. | ||
11. | To provide technical support to Expro bases world-wide. | ||
12. | Report any hazardous defects in plant, equipment and workplace, or shortcomings in the existing controls, to a responsible person without delay. | ||
13. | Ensuring that all workstations are left clean, tidy and in a safe condition. | ||
